They are all social projects which each have a phase of human contact in order to give effective aid/help. There will be moments in which it is necessary to cook, to paint, or to organize something in a poor area, however there are also opportunities to assist poor, children, the abandoned elderly, the sick and people with particular illnesses. Everyone will be able to lend a hand according to their talents and abilities.

Work is undertaken in Lima and Arequipa, the missions around Puno, Arequipa and Huaraz. Accommodations is mainly in centrally sited religious houses (this helps also to reduce the cost).

For how long?

In order to have time to visit and be most help to the people it is best to have at least 3 weeks to spare.

How much does it cost?

This depends a great deal upon when you book your plane ticket and if you book as a group, as well as the numbers involved. Last year (2006) the total cost (incl. fares, taxes, connections, accommodation, meals, internal flights to Lima, Cuzco and Arequipa, journeys to the mission areas and tourist charges at Cuzco) was from 1930 Euros per person for 21 days. This price may be lower depending upon the time of year, time of purchase, place of departure etc.
